Learning Curves Education Network is a non-profit educational consulting group dedicated to the goal of improving teaching and learning. Our products and services include:
- Benchmarking to Education STandards (B.E.ST.) is the first and only program providing comparative data on higher education institution’s core mission of teaching and learning. B.E.ST. enables disciplinary programs to compare themselves across a national pool of similar disciplinary programs on learning practices and outcomes.
- Online Faculty Development Seminars with national experts to augment faculty development in schools that are underserved in this area.
- The Better Education Through Reflection (BETR) Course Evaluation program helps institutions of higher education create a course evaluation process that is reliable, valid, owned by all constituents (faculty, administrators and students), and leads to improvement in teaching and learning. Participation in the BETR Course Evaluation project includes a subscription to the LCEN Online Survey Suite.
- The LCEN staff has more than 30 years of combined experience conducting External Evaluations of federal, state, and privately funded grant programs, including Title V, FIPSE, Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3), National Science Foundation and more.
