Deaths as if timed..

By OSMAN OZSOY - January 7 2025
Deaths as if timed..

It can be surprising to witness some people’s last moments. I have seen, heard and read many examples of this myself. Recently, I witnessed a new example of this once again.

Today, I will tell you about Musa Kazım Süren as an example of this. But I will write who he is at the end of the article. In every video call we had with this beautiful person, he repeated this; I have two desires left to see in this world. I can die in peace after witnessing them.

He had two grandchildren from his first child. His first grandchild, who got married in 2023, had a baby in May 2024. His grandchild was living in Europe and he had not had the chance to see him yet. He really wanted to see his grandchild, who represented the future of the family. His second wish was to see his second grandchild’s wedding.

His great-grandson went to Istanbul from the Netherlands in mid-November with his wife and 5.5-month-old son for his brother’s wedding. In this way, he saw his first child from his great-grandson for the first time and the wedding of his second grandson, who got married on November 23. Thus, he witnessed the fulfillment of his two wishes that he called his last two wishes in life. Everyone who knew about this wish of his was happy.

The cycle of fate began to show itself at this stage. On the morning of December 6, 2024, her daughter woke up saying she had an interesting dream and told her husband the following: In my dream, there was a bunch of roses on a table. They looked wilted. I said let’s put them in a vase with water so that they can come to life. In my dream, the people around the table said, they are dead now, they will never come to life. When she opened her eyes under the influence of the dream, she said, I think my father is dead. She was shaking with excitement.

There was an eight-hour time difference with Turkey. Knowing this, relatives and friends usually did not send messages at night. She immediately reached for her phone. She saw that her son had written the following on Whatsapp about an hour ago; When you wake up, can we talk for a moment? She called her son immediately. He sounded very sad. He said, my grandfather had just passed away in intensive care. As she hung up the phone in tears, she said; In my dream, they told me that these roses would never come to life again. So my father was also taking his last breath at the same moment.

Do you know who Musa Kazım Süren was, who said he had two last wishes in life and who took his last breath on December 6 after fulfilling both of his wishes in November 2024? He was my father-in-law. He never raised his voice to me during our 36-year marriage with his daughter.

He was aware of why we had not been able to return to Turkey for nearly 10 years. He was aware that I would be severely punished for criticizing the dictatorial regime in Turkey in my newspaper articles and television speeches. He knew that if we had returned, we would have rotted in prison. He was aware of the price of freedom. Even in the face of weddings and funerals that we had to watch on Whatsapp from thousands of kilometers away, he never once insisted that we return. He was also aware that we would not be able to attend his funeral due to the threats posed by the regime in Turkey. For this reason, he even had his own grave prepared before he died. He was a beautiful person who never upset anyone, never held a grudge against anyone, and who always extended a helping hand to those in need throughout his life. Our greatest wish is that God will reward him in heaven for living as a good person.

Even when his condition got worse, he did not want to be taken to intensive care and intubated. He knew that according to general statistics in the world, his chances of surviving intensive care were not very high. He did not want to enter the intensive care door without achieving both of his desires in life. He resisted the destruction of his illnesses. When he was taken to intensive care in the days after the wedding, he passed away less than 12 hours later.

As you know, dreams are one of the most interesting realities of life. We have all witnessed many examples of this. About a year after my mother passed away in 2017, I saw her in my dream. I missed her very much. But, I could not attend my mother’s funeral due to threats from the regime. In fact, the regime elements in Turkey raided my house on the day of the funeral and tore the whole place apart, thinking that I might have come to Turkey secretly to attend the funeral.

In my dream, my mother and I hugged each other so much that, under the influence of the dream, I moved a little from side to side in my bed. I caused my wife to wake up. As you know, everyone has their own unique smell. In fact, this is even more pronounced in older people. When I woke up under the influence of the dream and woke my wife up, the first thing she said to me in bed was; You smell just like your mother. However, she had never said anything like this to me before. While I was hugging my mother in my dream, her smell permeated me and my wife noticed this situation in a strange way. I don’t know how scientists explain such issues.

The fading flowers that almost indicated death in the dream, and my mother’s scent that permeated me in the dream, being noticed by my wife when I woke up, have a special place in our family history memories as mysteries that need explanation. If every person wrote down these kinds of mysterious things they witnessed in their own lives, wouldn’t it be a book of thousands of volumes? Because life is never limited to the things we can explain. Maybe this is what makes life mysterious and keeps it from being boring.
