Today the whole world knows what is happening in Ukraine. War came to my home in February of 2022 one morning at 5:30am with a deafening explosion from the airport about 15 kilometers from my street.

You may be able to claim a credit for eligible tuition and other fees paid for courses taken in 2021. You can claim up to $250 for each year, and if you don't make a claim one year, the amount carries forward for use in later years to a maximum of $5,000 in your lifetime. This credit started in 2020.

Zhi Hai’s Story

Zhihai is an ESL student in the first level ESL class at Overland Learning Centre. It is remarkable that he is 91 years old and has been learning English for over two years now.

When Saigon fell to the Vietcong, I was only in kindergarten. But soon, school became “re-education”. We swept streets and picked up garbage.
